NxFilter

Most modern routers include various filters and firewalls which can protect you from online attacks and from malware and spyware. The problem is that most such filters are extremely limited and don't offer too many configuration possibilities. This is why you should install NxFilter, a Windows application which allows you to filter incoming and outgoing network traffic and also offers a full log containing Internet browsing history.

After the program is installed, it will automatically start its service. For accessing the main interface of the application, you just need to open any web browser and type the IP address or hostname of your computer. At this point, a web page will be opened, in which you can view the generated network traffic in real time.

By using the top buttons, you can change the configuration of the application and you can even configure it to send automatic emails when certain alerts take place, for example when a hacker tries to attack your computer or network. What's more, you can define and configure various policies which should be used throughout your network. For example, you can block certain websites from being accessed by network users.

Furthermore, you can configure NxFilter to automatically block domains which are known to be used by phishing sites. By accessing the history section of NxFilter, you can view the list of users and websites which have been accessed by them. You can also customize the interval for which the log should be displayed.
